God's Grace

Hebrews 4:16 says Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

On the morning of May 7th, 2022,  I opened my living room curtains to provide light for the plants in my living room.  I saw a wild turkey walking across the neighbor's yard. I thought, buddy, why are you alone?   I tried to get a picture of him, but the neighbor's dog chased him down the road.

I wondered if it was Turkey hunting season. So I googled and found out Turkey hunting season opened April 10th through May 8th. The next day!

I chatted with my neighbor and told her about the turkey in her yard.  She said her son had just returned home from turkey hunting and saw him in their yard!

Father, we are humbled and thankful for the grace and mercy you give to us daily. Like that lonesome courageous turkey, you look after us in our time of need, and we are truly grateful. In Jesus' name,  Amen!
