I enjoy walking in the morning as the sun is coming up.  I like to see the splendor of God's wonderful creation along my pathway.  As I journey along my dad's farm, I see cows grazing, pigs sunning, birds flying, and a pond stocked with fish.

One spring morning, I noticed hundreds of tiny earthworms slowly crawling across the dirt road in my father's field.  Some worms made it to the other side of the road.  Other earthworms crawled over halfway the road, then turned around and went back in the direction from which they came.  They did not know they were in danger, from my bother soon driving over the road, to check on the farm animals.  I stood there towering over those endangered earthworms, feeling helpless, knowing their demise.

Then the realization came over me,  of GOD looking down from heaven at us. He sees the condition of our hearts.  We like the earthworms, may not know we are in danger, until it is too late.  That is the reason we are to keep our hearts pure, and our  lives, focused on GOD.
