Divine Adoption

     In January of last year, my niece and her husband were hand-picked by a birth mother to be parents to a baby girl. So naturally, we, as the family, were excited for my niece and her husband. They had been married for nine years and were wanting a child. Beautiful Addison is an excellent adopted addition to our family.  

     I was shopping for a church project a few months ago. I looked in the store's children's section and noticed the storybooks were marked down from $4.99 to $1.24. I thought that was a good buy. I looked down at the selection of books. There was only one book left on the shelf. The title was "A Blessing From Above, an adoption story."  Without hesitation, I purchased the book for my niece.  

     It is incredible how God lines up things perfectly for those he loves according to his purpose.   Ephesians 1:5-6 states Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will. To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 

     When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are adopted into the Kingdom of God. Just like Addison is adopted into our family, if you have not been adopted into God's kingdom, please do it before it is too late.
